Application
An alcohol‐based defoamer uses a fatty or high-molecular-weight alcohol as the carrier solvent and active agent to rapidly knock down foam in aqueous systems. These products spread quickly across the foam interface, reduce surface tension, and promote collapse of foam bubbles.
